The Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) is an organization supported by the government. Its goal is to establish Hong Kong as a leading hub of design excellence in Asia and promote design and design thinking to create value for businesses and improve society's well-being.

HKDC organizes the Business of Design Week Event every year, inviting speakers worldwide to address essential issues that designers and society face.

Aside from the live events, the event is also broadcast on TV to reach a large regional audience. NextShoot has been collaborating with HKDC since 2021. They help produce and film content featuring keynote speakers from the UK and Europe for promotional purposes on HKDC's website and social media channels. The content is also displayed at the event and broadcasted as part of their program of events.

In 2022, the focal point of BODW was Dutch Design, showcasing a variety of renowned designers and architects from the Netherlands.

As part of this exciting program, I had the opportunity to film Piet Hein Eek, a Dutch designer and entrepreneur, at his studio in Eindhoven.
