The Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC) is an organization supported by the government. Its main goal is to establish Hong Kong as a hub for excellent design in Asia. They aim to promote the use of design and design thinking in a wider and strategic manner to create value for businesses and enhance societal well-being.

Every year, HKDC hosts their Business of Design Week Event, which brings together speakers from all over the world. This event focuses on addressing important issues that designers and society as a whole face.

Apart from in-person attendance, the event is also broadcast on TV in the region, reaching hundreds of thousands of viewers. Since 2021, NextShoot has been collaborating with HKDC to assist in producing and filming content featuring keynote speakers from the UK and Europe. This content is used for promotion on their website and social media channels, as well as for display and broadcast during their program of events.

For the BODW 2022 event, I had the opportunity to film with the innovative British designer Ross Lovegrove at a studio in central London.
